![]() Director of Programs Christina is the Director of Programs of CIT International. She currently oversees the day-to-day operations of our programs. She is a Certified CIT Coordinator and has been involved with CIT programs in her local community, as well as the state, for seven years. Prior to joining CIT International, she was the Executive Director of NAMI Fresno. Through NAMI Fresno, she provided education, support & advocacy for all people affected by mental illness in her local community in the Central Valley of California. Christina’s efforts have been focused in building relationships and collaborating with agencies within the mental health community. In addition, she coordinated the delivery of CIT training with law enforcement agencies. Christina continues to provide mental health education to various partners of the criminal justice system, local school districts for teachers, administrators and students, and faith communities. Prior to leadership in the non-profit sector, Christina spent over 20 years in the banking industry as a Vice President specializing in relationships with community benefit organizations. She currently serves as a board member for the following organizations: Central Valley Children's Services Network - President, NAMI California - Treasurer, and California CIT Association - Director. She has been a dedicated member of the Fresno County Suicide Prevention Collaborative since 2016. Christina also chairs the CTE Advisory Committee for FUSD. Christina is an appointed commissioner for the Fresno County Juvenile Justice Commission. She is a certified instructor for Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid. She is a trained program leader for NAMI Family to Family, NAMI Family Support Group, NAMI Connection Support Group, and NAMI Ending the Silence programs. Christina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina - Aiken Campus in 1994. She spent over 20 years as a Vice President in the banking industry managing a portfolio of community benefit organizations as her clients. Christina enjoys spending time with her three children, a love of baseball, and photography. |
